Pricing questions
Why isn’t there a price per square metre?
Because it would be misleading. Core, thickness, facing and freight change the rate substantially. A quick spec gives an honest number instead of a headline rate you can’t rely on.
What’s the cheapest way to build a cool room?
EPS core at the minimum thickness your temperature allows, standard facings, and a simple rectangular layout. The calculator helps you avoid over-ordering.
Is PIR worth the extra cost?
For freezers and tight wall build-ups, yes — you get more R-value per millimetre. For a standard chiller, EPS usually wins on value.
